Since “Taco Tuesday” has become a thing, hungry residents flock to local Mexican restaurants and food trucks each week for all things tacos. Those flocking to Ponte Vedra Beach’s newest Mexican restaurant will find much more just than tacos as this is not your abuela’s average cocina. Anejo Cocina Mexicana, located at 330 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach, serves up a full menu of Mexican delights including specialty tacos, burritos, enchiladas and fajitas. Looking for a signature dish? You will have trouble choosing as they all sound ‘muy delicioso’. My personal favorite is the Arroz Con Pollo, chicken and rice served with pico de gallo, queso dip, yellow rice and topped with fresh avocado slices. I highly recommend!
Anejo offers a large lunch menu served until 3PM and dinner menu through 10PM weekdays. Looking for the perfect happy hour spot? Happy hour is their strong suit and they have that covered with signature cocktails, margaritas, beer and wine. Whatever you do, don’t leave without dessert that includes fried ice cream, flan, churos, chocolate cake and, of course, tres leches. The menu also includes selections for our vegetarian and keto friends as well! There’s definitely something for everyone at Anejo!
Looking to dine inside? Anejo has plenty of finer dining space indoors with comfortable, socially distanced, seating. Looking to keep it outdoors on these last few breezy, comfortable, low temp days of March? No problem! Anejo has outdoor seating as well.
