At Home with Lindsay Moore

home details

What makes a house a home? Oftentimes, it’s those little spaces or details that a person does to give the place personality.

PVF was lucky enough to be invited into the home of Lindsay and Charlie Moore recently to see what spaces they love. Originally, we’d hoped to showcase just one spot, but it was impossible to choose just one! So here in random order are the things we LOVE about the house:

Built in organization:
Built in organization: From the spectacular panty, to the divine bar, to the outside buffet, to the walk in closet to the bookshelves (not pictured) each place has a function and a purpose.

Charmed bath
Charmed bath: A bold use of patterns that interplay — so well done. The half-bath’s green geometric wallpaper is coupled with a classic blue and white vase, large seaweed prints take the place of a mirror and details on the hand towels, wastebasket and soaps bring it all together.

Cozy time
Cozy time: Comfortable seating in every space. From the cozy nook for two in the master to the plush seating in Mimi’s room, there is a chair calling for a book (or magazine)  and a cup of coffee (or wine).

All this is not just by chance. Lindsay Moore is an up and coming interior designer whose passion and talent is enviable. She has a penchant for the preppy, but can translate anything into stylish. She’s even coming up with her own furniture line — grasscloth furniture!

We are blue and green and turquoise with envy! For information on her services you can email her at lindsaymoore1@yahoo.com.
