This time of year is my favorite watching houses transform at night to winter wonderlands of twinkling lights!
At the beach, we are lucky to be in close proximity to many over the top, fabulous light displays! Here are a few that are not to be missed!
Christmas Lights in Old Ponte Vedra
This display on Solana Road immediately puts me in the best mood every night on the way home! And there are some great light displays along Ponte Vedra Boulevard.
Christmas Lights in Blackhawk Bluff off Girvin Rd
Neighbors team together to create canopies of lights throughout the neighborhood. Blast those Christmas tunes and take a cruise through this totally decked out area. Here are the details.
Atlantic Beach Christmas (Snapping Turtle Dr)
This home in Ocean Walk in Atlantic Beach goes ALL out with synchronized lights and music. Check out their website for more info on parking etc.
Deck the Chairs in Jax Beach
Located in Jacksonville Beach, Jacksonville Deck the Chairs is an annual event where corporations and people sponsor decorating iconic lifeguard chairs to raise money for the Volunteer Life Saving Corps of Jacksonville Beach. My personal favorite this year is the Beaches Go Green display bringing awareness to the wastefulness of single-use plastics. All the plastic used in the display represents on average, the amount of single-use plastic an individual uses in a single year!
Jax Illuminations
Located at the Morocco Shrine, this is an easy drive from the beach and features almost a mile drive of synchronized music and lights. Check out their website for times and prices.
509 Robles Lane in Ponte Vedra Beach
This is a new one to our list thanks to a reader. This happy homeowner takes off a week from work to put together his lights display which is timed to music. He loves his customers. Robles Lane is located in the Sandy Oaks neighborhood between PVPV/Rawlings and the Ponte Vedra Public Library
