It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas --- which means, holiday light displays! What better way to enjoy the holidays then to grab some hot chocolate and drive around town to see all the amazing light displays near the beach. It will make for a fun family night, get the kids out of the house and there's nothing better than hearing their excitement in the back seat while seeing all the incredible displays.
Deck the Chairs

Where: Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach
Deck the Chairs is celebrating it's 10th season in 2022. This community supported display showcases decorated lifeguard chairs to help promote arts and education.
Dazzling Nights
Dates: November 27 thru January 1
Where: Jacksonville Arboretum and Gardens, 1445 Millcoe Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32225
The Jacksonville Arboretum has been transformed for the holidays to the Dazzling Nights magical light display including flickering Moroccan lanterns, a moving light show, inflatable Yeti play area, 8,000 square foot lighted maze, giant star walk through tunnel and more. St. Augustine Nights of Lights
Dates: November 19 thru January 31
Where: St. Augustine, FL (downtown)
St. Augustine Nights of Lights is rated among National Geographic's top ten holiday light displays making it one not to be missed! Make it a date or family night to enjoy the magic of the lights in St. Augustine. This FREE event is not one to be missed.
Blackhawk Bluff
Dates: November 27 thru January 1
Where: Girvin Road, Jacksonville
Every year the residents of Blackhawk Bluff put on an incredible FREE drive thru light display. This display was voted best in Jacksonville in 2-2021. Grab the hot cocoa and enjoy the ride!
Jax Illuminations
Dates: December 1 - 31
Where: Regency Square Mall, Jacksonville
Build a family tradition at Jax Illuminations drive thru display with synchronized holiday music. Tickets are required for this display and can be purchased here.
Palm Valley Boat Parade
Date: December 3
Where: Intracoastal Waterway, Palm Valley
This decades long tradition has fascinated locals and visitors alike. Often referred to as the Mardi Gras of boat parades, the Palm Valley Boat Parade covers the seven miles of the Intracoastal Waterway and can be viewed from local restaurants and spectator locations.
ZOOLights
Date: Every weekend in December
Where: Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens
Welcome to a winter wonderland at The Jacksonville ZOOLights featuring over 2 million lights, imagery and choreographed animation. Advance tickets are required for this event and can be purchased here.
