Who is ready for the Super Bowl? On February 7 at 6:30p.m. the Kansas City Chiefs will be taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are making NFL history by playing a Super Bowl hosted at their home stadium, Raymond James Stadium, in Tampa Florida.
Even though 2020 has brought continued “new norms” into 2021, we know it is still a time of getting together. Nothing brings people together more than The Super Bowl so in the spirit of living safely AND enjoying time together for the big game, we’ve put together some football festive dishes and tasty treats to make game day even more super!
FINGER FOODS
Out of this World Corn Dip: What attracted me mostly to this recipe was the ease and simplicity of it PLUS it’s served best with Frito Corn Chips and those are a big winner on Super Bowl Sunday for me. The longer you let the mixture chill in the fridge, the better it is. Just trust me! View Recipe Here
Seven Layer Dip: Super Bowl get togethers are the best time for chips and dips. This Seven Layer Dip does NOT disappoint. It’s all things taco but in a dip and healthier than it’s classic name sake. View Recipe Here
Really Good Chip Dip: I love the ease of store bought dips but for a fresh, not out of the glass jar taste, this one is one of my favorites. Best thing is you can customize it with whatever herbs you feel like adding. It’s your dip … go for it! View Recipe Here
Presentation is everything too so we searched out some ideas for helping our tables look cute while still staying safe in the times of COVID. Consider serving your chips in these cute bags to keep hands out of the chip bowl. Super cute idea, right? Find more ideas on Pinterest HERE
Thai Turkey Lettuce Wraps: There are a healthy favorite on my list! Add a bit of siracha for a bit of kick. These will definitely make your health conscious guests happy! View Recipe Here
Zucchini Pizza Bites: My daughter and I love this recipe. It’s simple, quick, healthy snack that it sure to please. We have substituted out turkey pepperoni minis for the pepperoni minis and have loved it just as much. It helps us stick to our healthy eating while giving us the taste for pizza we’ve been craving. Vegan Vegetarian Meatballs: So listen, I get it, not everyone is a fan of tofu but I beg you … don’t knock it until you have tried it. For so long I snubbed my nose at it but one day caved and have been hooked ever since. One of my favorite recipes are these meatballs. Definitely worth the try! I bet if you never told your guests they were made from tofu, they would never know. View Recipe Here
