The Oakbridge Club’s inaugural Saturday farmers market

Today was the Oakbridge Club’s inaugural farmers market in TPC Sawgrass. There were more than a dozen vendors – dairy, seafood, vegetables and fruit, organic greens, lemonade, jewelry stands, art, hot sauimg_2646ce stand and a bakery.

The market was definitely a success with the residents, and it’s planned to be a weekly event on Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

This is a great way to get out on a Saturday to find some fresh food and meet your neighbors.

The purchase of the Oakridge Club has not been without controversy due to residents concern over what will happen to the golf course. But this is a great step in the right direction for the community, as are the upgraded tennis facilities which are looking fantastic.

The Oakbridge farmers market is held in the Oakbridge clubhouse parking lot at 254 Alta Mar Drive in TPC Sawgrass on Saturdays from 8a to 12p.
