Ponte Vedran of the Week – Jennifer Waldrop

By Karen Tyrrell

Ponte Vedra Beach boasts a large number of women business owners and entrepreneurs – Jennifer Waldrop is one of them. As founder and owner of the thriving business VIE Plant & Garden Design, she is multi-talented with an amazing eye for landscaping and interior design, is an excellent tennis player when she has time to play, and a very busy mother of two high schoolers. You will often spot Jennifer driving through town in her Jeep from one site to another, standing on top of a huge truck of trees, plants and flowers directing a large crew what to do and how to do it according to her particular specifications, or towing golf carts out of deep mud like a pro (that’s another story). She is also a devout University of Georgia fan, an incredible hostess and cook, incredibly charitable, and a fun-loving concert goer in her down time.

I first met Jennifer on the tennis courts when our children were very young. We spent many a Friday night at the beach with our families enjoying appetizers and sunsets while the kids boogie boarded and built sandcastles. As our Ponte Vedran of the Week, I asked Jennifer a wide array of questions so we can get to know her a little better!
