The Beaches Town Center: Where Neptune Beach Meets Atlantic Beach

Just north of Ponte Vedra Beach and Jacksonville Beach sits two quaint beach communities thriving in local hotspots featuring fantastic dining, entertainment, shopping and of course, some of the prettiest ocean frontage to grace the First Coast. The Beaches Town Center is not just a landmark to the locals looking for good food but vacationers as well who enjoy the oceanfront hotels including One Ocean and The Seahorse. What could be better than being located directly in the heart of Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach.

Residents and area beaches locals alike love to stroll the of the Town Center for the dining selections and locally owned shopping opportunities to include boutiques of all kinds. And there's so much to choose from!

One of the most storied and established landmark venues you will find for great seafood near the ocean in Beaches Town Center is Sliders Oyster Bar in Neptune Beach. Sliders dates back to the early 80's where it's location was previously a car repair shop. Sliders has since undergone a complete renovation and remodel where you will find beachgoers, locals and townies alike savoring in the delish delights featured on the menu. We met with Chris Wooten, owner of Sliders and Safe Harbor Seafood recently to chat about backstory of Sliders. Chris says "Sliders is looking to carry on the history of being beach, family, surf and sand." Chris worked at Sliders when he was in high school. In fact, it was the spot of his first date with his wife!

Beaches Town Center is also home to One Ocean Resort & Spa (formerly The Sea Turtle Inn).
