There’s not many (if any at all) pop up markets in the Ponte Vedra Beach area so “oh what fun” it was to plan a first ever Keller Williams Holiday Market this year! If you missed the Keller Williams Luxury Holiday Market, you missed a wonderful day! The Inaugural Holiday Market at the Keller Williams Luxury International office at 190 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach was held on Sunday, December 12. So much planning went into this four hour event that included pictures with Santa and his helper Elf straight in from the North Pole and an amazing line up of over 30 Local Artisans, Crafters and Makers. Despite the light rain, the day was a HUGE success with lots of folks coming out to pick up last minute holiday gifts in an effort to support the local organization, Peace of Heart Community in Ponte Vedra Beach. The market raised $1000 for the Peace of Heart Community.
The Peace of Heart Community, located at 14A South Roscoe Blvd, provides an innovate group home environment for young adults with autism where love, happiness and belonging is fostered heavily in their lives, and talents developed. POHC is person centered, providing enrichment opportunities for the young adults who are given access to communication while giving the community an opportunity to participate in their environmentally sustainable garden by becoming a raised bed sponsor. Peace of Heart’s weekly market is open to the public every Saturday from 9AM – 12PM where you can come purchase from the garden and see the animals, including Lily the pot belly pig, Sammy the mini horse, goats and the free range chickens. If you have never heard of POHC or never had the opportunity to visit their farm, we highly encourage you to take a trip out on Saturday morning and prepare to be in awe of what they offer to the community and those with autism.
