Every March, Ponte Vedra Beach becomes center stage in the golfing realm as THE PLAYERS Championship brings golfers, fans and media to our coastal town. Welcoming this annual tradition is nothing new to residents of Ponte Vedra Beach as the PGA Tour has called Ponte Vedra Beach home to this tournament since 1974. This event brings hundreds of thousands of fans to our community annually for this world class golf event. If you haven’t purchased tickets yet, it’s not too late! We’ve got you covered with ticket information, what’s new to THE PLAYERS in 2023 and some important Frequently Asked Questions, so you know before you go.
TICKETS
Stadium Pass – A Stadium Pass ticket is for general grounds access and all public areas of the Tournament. Tuesday’s Stadium Pass will also include access to the Military Appreciation Concert featuring Riley Green. You can purchase a stadium pass for any day here.
Military Tickets (Active Duty, Retired, Reserve, National Guard) – Tickets to military are available for military service members and one dependent on Tuesday and Wednesday plus one competition day (Thursday – Sunday). You can get military tickets here. Ticketed Military and one dependent (with valid ID) can also access the Patriots Outpost, the open air venue, for snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
Veteran Tickets – Tickets for veterans and one dependent are available for Tuesday and Wednesday plus one competition day (Thursday – Sunday. You can get veteran tickets here. Ticketed Veterans and one dependent (with valid ID) can also access the Patriots Outpost, the open air venue, for snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
Kids 15 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult. Maximum 2 kids per adult.

NEW IN 2023 AT THE PLAYERS
There’s several new features that you will find at THE PLAYERS Championship this year.
New PGA Tour App – The new app makes the experience more interactive featuring technology to help you navigate the course easier, as well as providing faster updates on the scoring, visual story to connect you with the players and player profiles plus more stats by round.
New Two Tiered Stadium – A new two tiered structure at the 16th and 17th holes will provide over 130K square feet of space to accommodate fans.
Fan Lockers – Sponsored by Atlantic Self Storage, fans will have access to free lockers to safely store items. Lockers can be found at the Nicklaus and Couples entry.
The Oasis and Titos Stillhouse Lounge – Located near the 8th green and 9th tee, this enclosed lounge will feature a putting green and TVs for live broadcast of the tournament so you won’t miss a thing happening on the course!
Fan Shop – The fan shop in Stadium Village will be even larger than before with over 36,500 square feet of merchandise.
Sustainable Sawgrass Splash Cup – To help improve sustainability, the signature drink known as The Sawgrass Splash will be served in a lightweight aluminum cup.
THE PLAYERS Championship FAQ
Here’s some frequently asked questions that may help plan your excursion to the tournament this year.
What am I permitted to bring in with me?
Fans are permitted opaque bags 6x6x6 maximum size or clear bags no larger than 12x6x12. Backpacks, duffle bags, camera bags, totes, string bags, etc. are not permitted. Folding chairs are permitted, however, the bag for the chair is not. You can find a full list of prohibited items at www.pgatour.com/prohibiteditems. You should also be prepared for any bags to be checked upon entering the facility.
Where do I park?
Volunteers are asked to park at Davis Park and utilize the shuttle. Volunteers should have the credentials visible for transportation. Spectators will park in general parking on Palm Valley Road and will be required to purchase a parking pass here.
Can I bring a chair?
Yes, you can bring a chair but not a chair bag.
Can I bring food to THE PLAYERS?
Yes, you can with some restrictions. Food should be stored in a one gallon plastic bag or clear saran wrap. Fans are not permitted to bring in outside beverages or water, however, there will be water stations available to fill reusable water bottles. There will also be food vendors and pavillions for spectators.
