THE PLAYERS Championship Info and FAQ

Every March, Ponte Vedra Beach becomes center stage in the golfing realm as THE PLAYERS Championship brings golfers, fans, and media to our coastal town.  Welcoming this annual tradition is nothing new to residents of Ponte Vedra Beach, as the PGA Tour has called Ponte Vedra Beach home to this tournament since 1974.  This event brings hundreds of thousands of fans to our community annually for this world-class golf event. If you haven't purchased tickets yet, it's not too late! We've got you covered with ticket information, newer fan experiences, and some important Frequently Asked Questions, so you know before you go.

TICKETS

Stadium Pass - A Stadium Pass ticket is for general grounds access and all public areas of the Tournament.  Tuesday’s Stadium Pass will also include access to the Military Appreciation Concert featuring Jordan Davis. You can purchase a stadium pass for any day here.

Military Tickets (Active Duty, Retired, Reserve, National Guard) - Tickets to the military are available for military service members and one dependent on Tuesday and Wednesday, plus one competition day (Thursday - Sunday). You can get military tickets here. Ticketed Military and one dependent (witha  valid ID) can also access the Patriots Outpost, the open-air venue, for snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

Veteran Tickets - Tickets for veterans and one dependent are available for Tuesday and Wednesday, plus one competition day (Thursday - Sunday. You can get veteran tickets on the PGA Tour website. Ticketed Veterans and one dependent (with a valid ID) can also access the Patriots Outpost, the open-air venue, for snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

Kids 15 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult.  Maximum 2 kids per adult.

Tickets do not include parking. Be sure to purchase a parking pass on the PGA Tour website.

The Deck Presented by Michelob Ultra: If you want to be at the center of the action, The Deck is your home base. Positioned perfectly to catch those high-stakes approach shots into both the 16th and 18th holes, this is the place to see and be seen. Whether you’re lounging in the soft seating to catch the highlights on the big screens or leaning over the rail for a live look at the green, you’ll do it with a cold drink in hand—complimentary beer, wine, and soda are included all day. Intracoastal Club Presented by Mayo Clinic:  Looking for tickets to a place to recharge without missing a single beat of the action? The Intracoastal Club Presented by Mayo Clinic, is the tournament’s latest must-visit destination. Tucked right between the 12th and 13th holes, this open-air hub offers a front-row seat to two of the most electric stretches on the course.

It’s the perfect mix of "sports lounge" and "sophisticated retreat." You can grab a high-top table, keep an eye on the leaderboards via the wall-to-wall TVs, and fuel up with a curated menu of upscale food and premium drinks available for purchase. If you want a stylish home base to relax and refuel between cheers, this is it.

THE PLAYERS Championship FAQ

Here are some frequently asked questions that may help plan your excursion to the tournament.

What am I permitted to bring in with me?

Fans are permitted opaque bags 6x6x6 maximum size or clear bags no larger than 12x6x12.  Backpacks, duffle bags, camera bags, totes, string bags, etc., are not permitted.  Folding chairs are permitted; however, the bag for the chair is not.  You can find a full list of prohibited items at www.pgatour.com. You should also be prepared for any bags to be checked upon entering the facility.

Where do I park?

Volunteers are asked to park at Davis Park and utilize the shuttle.  Volunteers should have their credentials visible for transportation.  Spectators will park in the general parking on Palm Valley Road and will be required to purchase a parking pass here.

Can I bring a chair?

Yes, you can bring a chair, but not a chair bag.

Can I bring food to THE PLAYERS?

Yes, you can with some restrictions. Food should be stored in a one-gallon plastic bag or clear Saran Wrap. Fans are not permitted to bring in outside beverages or water; however, there will be water stations available to fill reusable water bottles. There will also be food vendors and pavilions for spectators.
