Welcome to Ponte Vedra Beach, a coastal paradise known for its beaches and upscale living. It also has a small but fabulous food scene. As a longtime resident, self-proclaimed foodie and busy real estate agent, I often grab lunch or dinner while on the go, but I still love to explore all the restaurant options in the area. Here are my top 5 favorite restaurants in Ponte Vedra Beach, in no particular order. Each one offers a unique and delicious dining experience, from fresh seafood delicacies to international flavors.
V Pizza / Julep
If you haven’t tried V Pizza yet, do it. V Pizza serves up mouthwatering pizza crafted with exceptional Italian ingredients creating the best of flavors. They make it no secret that it’s all cooked in authentic brick ovens straight from Italy because pizza is their passion! My personal favorites are the Salado Pizza and the Margherita V Signature pizza. And it’s not just pizza they are serving up. V’s menu also includes calzones, stromboli, wings, sandwiches and salads. Come for the food but be sure to check out the accompanying bar, Julep, with over 900 whiskey options (if that’s your liquor of choice) and an impressive menu of feature cocktails. Mangiamo!

Valley Smoke opened in 2017 in Ponte Vedra Beach and is nestled along the Intracoastal Waterway on South Roscoe Boulevard. The dining experience at Valley Smoke is one-of-kind, combining incredible barbecue flavors with a polished but relaxing environment. The menu includes an array of smoked meats, from brisket to pulled pork, all expertly prepared. Valley Smoke is perfect for the barbecue enthusiasts and food lovers looking for an unforgettable meal. I believe they have some of the best brisket in town and yet don’t just take my word for it, go see for yourself. While there, try the fried chicken too. It’s quite tasty.

What does the name mean you ask? The name McFlamingo may bring a smile to your face, and there’s a story behind it. The “Mc” is from the family name, while “Flamingo” is inspired by the graceful bird known for its vibrant pink color, which is obtained from its shrimp-rich diet. McFlamingo is the perfect lunch or dinner spot for those diners looking for a hearty and healthy meal. The mission at McFlamingo, is to redefine the way healthy food is being presented and enjoyed while providing nourishing food that is truly beneficial to our bodies. I personally love the chicken hummus salad with quinoa and greens. You also can’t go wrong with the salmon salad. Both are so yummy!
