Scout & Mollys located in Sawgrass Village is a great resource for year-round shopping as well as an especially great spot to pick up something new for TPC week.
I’m a self-professed loather of shopping, and if left to myself, I’d wear a uniform of black and grey. With Scout & Molly’s owner Emily Rhodin as a neigbhor, I’ve had the great fortune of having her shop, dress and accessorize me for the past year. It’s an amazing gift (and as a side note, she will do this for others).
I asked Emily and her Scout team to come up with a few looks for TPC week, and here are some ideas as you start prepping for the week:
Bright and Fun
Yellow, like on this Pleated Cami by Naked Zebra ($48) is on-trend this Spring and Rhodin loves how it pops when paired with the white raw hem Farrah Skinny Ankle Jeans by AG Denim ($188). She said the bright white is a little dressier and will give a little more warmth if the wind picks up on the course. If the day is a little chilly pair the look with a cute blue denim jacket. They recommend white or tan sandals with this look.
And not that the model isn’t lovely, but here is what the top looks like without the studio setting. Adorable!
Sweet and Pretty
With TPC comes brunches, tent stops, and socializing of all kinds. This Do It Right dress by BB Dakota ($89) has the perfect amount of sophistication but is still cute, easy and fun, says Rhodin. Pair it with a short nude wedge or flats.
For evening, switch to some dressy wedges or heels, and you are ready for dinner.
And here it is on our local model! Yes, the purses behind her are cute, but you can’t carry those onto tournament grounds if they don’t hit certain guidelines.
Clear Purses
Here’s a cute purse idea. The Players Championship requires a clutch that is either 6 x 6 or a clear bag. The below clear bag is $40.
Classic and On Par
We all love our sweaters but now that it’s warming up its time to move into spring. Rhodin says spring is all about the sleeveless sweater tops like the Striped Sweater Tank by Lush ($52). Since it’s still March and there can be wind and a little chill while out at TPC they’ve paired the look with the Rochelle No Waist Cropped Kick Flare Pant ($115). For TPC, she suggests pairing this outfit with black or gold sandals or ballet flats. For jewelry, add a long but simple gold necklace and gold hoop earrings.
Word to the wise ladies, be careful with flowy things at the tournament if the wind is strong. I found myself doing an ugly Marilyn Monroe last year due to a flowy dress in the wind. Wear a dress if the weather is perfect, but otherwise, go with the pants. And, be smart about your footwear. It is a golf event, as well as a party.
I had Emily pick out some accessories, which would go nicely for any of these outfits or stuff already in your closet. I seriously had no idea, until she got her hands on me, exactly how important accessorizing was. This might come naturally for some, but boy what a difference.
Bracelets, earrings, necklaces really can turn a basic outfit into something cute and super stylish.
Accessories

Here’s a link to the Scout & Molly’s store: https://www.scoutandmollys.com/location/sawgrass/. This is absolutely not a paid ad, but I seriously can’t say enough great stuff about the personal styling I’ve gotten from them.
I used Stitch Fix for two years but found it impersonal and off-target much of the time. Emily and her team absolutely take my ideas into account and try to stretch my boundaries. I even have a couple of patterned shirts as a result of the exercise that I love. And, I have some great accessories to make me look super cool. 😉
Be smart for TPC. Dress like a pro, and treat yourself to a new spring outfit.
