Staying In:

Tonight starts Passover and in our house, we are going all-in on Alison Roman’s menu from the New York Times. For Easter, we have ordered ham and fixings from one of our favorite caterers Well-Oiled Events.

Based on the emails I have gotten about sharing recipes, people would like some easy ideas for cooking.  This article from Epicurious provides a 10-day plan plus substitutions.  The on-line cooking club from Wit & Delight sends you three new recipes to try each week.  Daily ideas for meals and more can be found at Dinner A Love Story. Each Sunday Half Baked Harvest shares 9 favorite things including links and recipes.

On TV, here are a few highlights. Parasite is now on Hulu if you missed it.  Modern Family was on air for 11 seasons and tonight is the series 2 -hour finale.  In case you are not one of 14 million people that have already tuned in here is the link for Some Good News by John Krasinski.  And there are rumors of more Tiger King.

Get Out:

North Guana Outpost remains open and has some kayak tours planned for this weekend.

Another way to get outside is to visit Congaree and Penn for a picnic.

Scavenger Hunt kits are now available for pick-up a the Go Tuk’n Jax Beach location. Kits come with all the instructions, prizes & more.

Helping Out:

Here are a few places looking for support if you have the time or funds to donate.

Sulzbacher is in need of bandana masks and other supplies.

Baptist Health has set up a link to support their health workers.

Take a walk and join Yards For Yardley an on-line movement raising awareness and money for One Love, an educational resource teaching students about “healthy and unhealthy relationships, empowering them to identify and avoid abuse.”
