What’s Up Wednesday

The sky lately has been amazing. This picture was taken with no filter one morning last week. The sunsets have also been spectacular. If you have captured this too, let us know and we will post your pretty picture.

Holiday Prep

One of my favorite presents to receive is a gorgeous box of homemade cookies from my pal in NYC. This year I might return the favor and make some of these from Half Baked Harvest.

Lauren Liess has a new series on Instagram called Homework and this week’s installment is how to add to a basic garland.

Still shopping…Oprah’s Favorite Things are all available on Amazon.

Pop Culture

The Golden Globe nominations were announced.  If nothing else the list helps to figure out what to watch when there is just so much content on television. Or check out these websites each of which aims to be the  2020 version of TVGuide.

Vanna is hosting Wheel of Fortune. I will be tuning in to see who is now turning the letters!

It’s hard to talk about Wheel fo Fortune without also mentioning Jeopardy. This article from the NY Times was really sweet.

My podcast obsession of the week is Dolly Partons America. I have only listened to the first two episodes but I can’t stop talking about it or recommending it. Fingers crossed it holds up…if it does our next article will probably be from Dolly World.

They have announced the word of the year.
