Spinnakers Reach is an oceanfront condominium complex inside the beach club of Sawgrass Country Club There are two horseshoe-shaped buildings with a total of 58 residences. Each building has its own courtyard pool and private beach access, and each building has its own board, budget and HOA rules. Spinnakers Reach I was built in 1980, and Spinnakers Reach II was built in 1982.
The units range from 1 bedroom to 4 bedrooms. The largest units are actually 2 stories. The is covered below building parking, and most units are assigned two parking spots. There is also locked storage.
One of the defining features of Spinnakers is the staggered layout of the buildings. Each unit has a balcony with an ocean view framed by a pretty green landscape.
Club membership is not required to live in Spinnakers. However, many residents find being a member of Sawgrass Beach Club a plus. It’s a quick walk up to the beach club, which was renovated in 2016 and offers some great food and beverage choices.
