Palencia Community Development District (CDD)
What is a CDD? A CDD (Community Development District) is a local special purpose government unit established pursuant to and regulated by Florida Statute which finances, owns, and manages infrastructure within the boundaries of the CDD. The CDD issues bonds the proceeds from these bonds are used to finance the development of infrastructure for that particular community. Palencia is split between two CDD’s depending on which part of the community owners reside in; Sweetwater Creek CDD and Marshall Creek CDD. (see map below). For information on the CDD, owners should contact their respective CDD below.
